Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum (formally Network Associates Coliseum and McAfee Coliseum, commonly know as The Oakland Coliseum or The Coliseum) is a multi-purpose stadium, located in Oakland, California, in the Coliseum Industrial area. It contains 6,300 club seats and 143 luxury suites. It is part of the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum complex, which consists of the stadium and neighboring Oracle Arena. The Oakland Coliseum is the host of two very different franchises the Oakland A's (Athletics) and the Oakland Raiders. Both of the teams have had their moments in teh sun and the NFL and MLB are both better because of what they offer. Oakland Coliseum not only offers baseball and football games but it has offered some great soccer games in the past as well as concerts. With the possibiblity of year round entertainment the Oakland Coliseum may only be accross the bay from San Francisco but to its fans its a totally different world.
